BREAKING NEWS:
Missouri School Bus Accident

A Missouri school bus crash involving a pickup truck, a tractor trailer cab, and two St. James High School buses carrying up to 50 student band members has killed one student and the pickup truck driver. The multi-vehicle chain-reaction accident occurred around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 5, 2010 as the high school students were on their way to a Six Flags amusement park. The school bus accident on Interstate 44 near Gray Summit just west of St. Louis injured dozens of students who have been taken to local hospitals to treat their injuries, which have been reported as non life-threatening. The accident is still under investigation, but the Missouri State Highway Patrol has reported that the pickup truck rear-ended the tractor due to the sudden slowing of traffic near a construction zone. One of the school buses then collided into the pickup truck and was struck from behind by the other school bus.
