A native of the St. Louis suburb Sunset Hills, Chris spent his childhood playing hockey, tennis and baseball with his siblings, two brothers and a sister. After graduating from Lindbergh High School he attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he majored in business/finance and real estate.
Christopher Dixon spent two years of postgraduate study at the Oklahoma City University School of Law and his final year at the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law.
Chris spent the summer after his first year of law school in Granada, Spain, through the Stetson University College of Law. The summer after his second year of law school he worked in the St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office as a "Rule 13" certified intern, which allowed him to conduct misdemeanor pleas and second chair felony criminal jury trials.
"Working as an intern in a prosecutor's office was an eye-opening experience," Chris says. "I gained valuable courtroom experience and, through working with the victims who have been hurt as a result of someone else's wrongdoing, it made me realize that I wanted to use my legal skills to help those who have suffered misfortune through no fault of their own."
During his third year of law school, Chris worked for Columbia, Mo.-based lawyers, handling cases ranging from personal injury to criminal law and business litigation. After graduating from law school, Chris went to work for the Clayton, Mo.-based law firm Medler & Roither, where he practiced in the areas of personal injury, criminal law and domestic litigation.
